'Welcome to Strange Folks attic, where we have stowed our relics away for many years! They are now on display for you to have a look through!

I know, we still all look the same!! It must be the soya milk we bathe in on a daily basis.'

Review by Neil Skinner, Watford Observer, April 24th 2009.

Strange Folk were given a little mention in a local Italian newspaper - La Stampa! If anyone can translate this write up please do message us! I would love to know what it says!

The Horn, St Albans, 28th October 2004. Do you remember when it only cost £4 to see three bands, great music venue, that is still going strong. Alike Cooper sounds fun for Halloween.

Newport Pagnell Festival 2005. A great sunny day of live music, in an idyllic location.

Galhampton, Party in the Park 2006. One of our favourite festivals, a great afternoon of live music. The band made friends with Hayseed Dixie who put in a storming performance at the end of the day, well worth seeing them if you get the chance.

Relaxing after our performance at Party in the Park 2006.

Strange Folk performed at Priddy Folk Festival in the summer 2005, loads of music, entertainment and cider all weekend:)

SF headlined the BBC Open Mic Night on November 13th 2007.

Some pictures from the evening at the BBC.

In 2009 SF won some recording gear!! Hurrah!! We entered our song 'Voices From The Lake' and became Post 18 Rock winners!:)

A few more music projects that SF were involved with.

A fun gig when SF took part in an evening of music and comedy at The Cross Kings, 5th November 2009.

SF performed at The Jericho Tavern in Oxford on the 4th October 2008. A cool bohemian music venue that has seen a number of bands get their big breaks after a gig there. Including Radiohead in 1986 when they were known as On A Friday, Supergrass also secured a record deal after a gig at The Jericho in 1994. Other bands that have performed at the venue : Ride, Pulp, Mumford and Sons etc..

In 2012 SF performed at The Summer Gathering at Gaunts House which was a very chilled hippy festival, and we got to perform on The Woodland Stage in the woods, very cool:)
